With tiny steps the ring bearer shuffled his way down the altar for his very important duty and a special surprise. A little push-start had him set to make his way towards his final destination. All he needed to do was carry the pillow and look adorable, but with so many people watching it was a lot of pressure just like it would be for any child. Although all eyes were on him, he kept his level of confidence down the aisle until a better idea popped into his head.
For this young boy, all the attention he was receiving seemed to go unnoticed. In that moment he was like a little celebrity as camera lights flashed at him to capture the moment, but he didn’t seem to give much thought to it. After all, he was a toddler with plenty on his mind. When his destination came closer than ever, it appears the attention was noted after all. He decided to do a trick before all the wedding guests that took them all by complete surprise. He started off so polite, but then something wild grabbed a hold of his actions.
It didn’t matter if people laughed and it didn’t matter what consequences would follow his daring move. All he knew was that more fun was available and it all depended on what he could pull off with the pillow he was holding. When the maid of honor, along with the entire wedding party was all in reach, he made his move. Watch how the guests respond to his hilarious plan in the video below.
Ken absolutely adored his little 2-year-old neighbor, Cadi, and they instantly struck up a friendship. After the man’s funeral, Owen Wilson was surprised when the man’s daughter came knocking on his door. Somehow the nearly 90-year-old Ken had been stashing away items that obviously “belonged” to his sweet little girl.
Ken’s friendship with Cadi went so much further than anyone realized. He knew that a time would come when he wouldn’t be able to give her a Christmas gift. So, he picked out and wrapped 14 different Christmas gifts, so that Cadi would have a new one to open every year until she was 16. Owen told the BBC:
“Our elderly neighbour passed away recently. His daughter popped round a few moments ago clutching a large plastic sack. In the sack were all the Christmas presents he’d bought for *our* daughter for the next thirteen years.”
Owen and his wife, Caroline, called her mother in Ireland on FaceTime, and they all started to tear up over their neighbor’s big heart. It was so unexpected, and no one knew just how long he had been hoarding them, or if he had thought to put together this sweet gift together towards the end of his life.
Even though the rule was supposed to be one present per year, there was a problem. None of the gifts were labeled as to which year or what order they should be opened! A gift meant for a 2-year-old would be much different than a gift for a 13-year-old!
Owen couldn’t resist, and did unwrap one of them, which was a book. He could tell there were some other books in the lot, and three or four soft toys. As for the rest of the items, it’s anyone’s guess what’s inside!
Ken, who was in his late 80’s before he passed, lived near Owen and Caroline in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. He had only been there for two years, and doted on their sweet baby girl from the moment she was born. Owen said that Ken was a “real, real character” and his actions certainly live up to that statement.
In a day and age where some people don’t even know their neighbor’s names, or worse, they wouldn’t even recognize their faces if they saw them in the store, it’s so heartwarming to know that there are people like Ken out there to make this world a much happier place.
Ken’s best stunt ever was actually done after he passed away.
